I left my heart in San Fransisco... or should I say , I left my kava. What an Awesome event , the Aloha Festival in San Fransisco was such a blast. Held at the historic military fort of Presidio with the back drop of the Golden Gate Bridge the festival takes place annually .Although the temperature was chilly and you could see your breath in the in the front of you, the spirit of Aloha seemed to warm the air. Island peoples of the bay area ventured out in their slippahs as if immune to the cold. Thousands of visitors hustling to find that little treasure from home. Kavaroots has been at the festival three times and is developing a nice fan base, with our offering of Kava and Bone carvings, and we would like to thank the people of the San Fransisco Bay area for showing their support. See you next year . |
